New Jersey Governor Christie Takes on Teacher in Townhall Meeting

This is simply brilliant! First of all the teachers unions are a liberal bunch of whiners, much as this teacher and their "woes" are self-created, just as Governor Christie outlines.

The New Congress Will Consider Impeachment

The New Congress Will Consider Impeachment

In the local newspaper today, the following column appeared written by Floyd and Mary Brown/Cagle Cartoons. I have to say, they speak for me. Please click on link above to read the entire article. At the bottom of the article is a link to sign the petition to impeach Obama. Please take a moment and do so. As Mr. Brown says, our nation depends on it!

NEXT CONGRESS COULD HAVE IMPEACHMENT ON ITS AGENDA
Floyd and Mary Brown

The new Congress elected in November will surprise everyone. They will seriously consider impeaching Barack Obama.

Growing under the radar of the mainstream media is a movement that is gathering momentum.

More than one million citizens have signed petitions calling on the U.S. Congress to impeach Barack Hussein Obama. Some of the soon-to-be-elected members of Congress are amongst those who have signed up, and they are not about to be cowered by establishment Republicans scared silly of the issue.

Ultimately, it comes down to a commonly shared belief amongst Tea Party activists that Barack Obama is systematically trying to hurt America. Obama, the argument goes, is not an incompetent boob in over his head. Nor is he is not some well-meaning community organizer who has seen his plans go astray.

Barack Obama is a dishonest, manipulative liar who actually is pursuing an agenda that he hopes will take America off the international leadership stage. He wants America to fail so that the vision of internationalist socialists can be realized. America is hated by the elite intellectuals of the world because we have been the single biggest roadblock to their plans to establish a one world governing system with them in charge.

Americans has consistently rejected socialism. Whether it is Hillarycare or Obamacare, Americans are speaking with a loud, clear voice against socialism.

The Left hates America because of our belief in God, our belief in rugged individualism, our belief in private property, and our belief in the right to keep and bear arms.

It is only through impeachment that the new Congress can send Barack Obama a clear and unambiguous message that he does not have carte blanche to run roughshod over America.

Impeachment is the political tool given by the Founders to correct abuse by a president. Impeachment is often misunderstood because of confusion about what exactly constitutes an impeachable offense.

Former President Gerald Ford, while serving in the House of Representatives, said an impeachable offense was “whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history.”

Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution reads: “The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”

The key phrase here is “high crimes and misdemeanors,” a concept in English common law that was well-known to our Founding Fathers but is grossly misunderstood in this day and age.

“High crimes and misdemeanors” essentially means bad behavior.

Here’s a passage from C-Span.org which succinctly and beautifully summarizes the historical significance surrounding the inclusion of the term “high crimes and misdemeanors” in the Constitution:

“High crimes and misdemeanors” entered the text of the Constitution due to George Mason and James Madison. Mason had argued that the reasons given for impeachment – treason and bribery – were not enough. He worried that other “great and dangerous offenses” might not be covered… so Mason then proposed “high crimes and misdemeanors,” a phrase well-known in English common law. In 18th century language, a “misdemeanor” meant “mis-demeanor,” or bad behavior.

In other words, “high crimes and misdemeanors” does not refer to a criminal act, as some would lead you to believe. Our Founding Fathers fully intended to allow for the removal of the president for actions which are gross incompetence, gross negligence, outright distasteful, or in the case of Barack Hussein Obama, actions which clearly show “malevolence toward this country, which is unabated.”

And for those who mistakenly hold the illusion that impeaching Barack Obama would be a simple matter of “playing politics,” the Founders fully intended that the impeachment of a sitting president be a political act.

The Founding Fathers deliberately put impeachment into the hands of the legislative branch rather than the judicial branch, thus transforming it from strictly a matter of legal definition to a matter of political judgment.

The Obama administration qualifies as the poster-child for bad behavior.

Obama and those around him are ravaging this great country and adding a sorry chapter to a noble history.

Impeachment, as written in the Constitution, was tailor-made for Barack Hussein Obama and our Founders placed it in our Constitution for such a time as this.

Pro-Life Women on the Rise
By Kathryn Lopez | September 18th, 2010

Christine O’Donnell was ecstatic on election night. The winner of the Republican primary in Delaware was happy and beaming and passionate — she’s a natural in front of television cameras — as she celebrated her unconventional win. Watching that image, Chris Matthews on “Hardball” announced, “I think she beats out Carly Fiorina in the likeability department.”

I suppose it depends what your meaning of likable is. I like candidates who know who they are and appear completely comfortable in their own political skin. That pretty well describes Fiorina, the Republican nominee for Senate in California.

But Matthews was onto something undeniable. While Fiorina was one of the original “Mamma grizzlies” endorsed by Sarah Palin and the pro-life organization Susan B. Anthony List, the image doesn’t quite seem to fit for the former CEO. She’s not a perky takedown artist from Delaware. She’s not an exotic (to us lower 48ers) lipsticked pit bull from Alaska. She isn’t easily labeled.

Hers is a “a solid, conservative economic message that find common ground with the independent women voters on economic issues for the general election,” as Mercedes Schlapp, mother of four girls, media consultant and veteran of the George W. Bush administration, sees it. And Fiorina also happens to be a pro-life, pro-marriage conservative, running against, three-term incumbent Barbara Boxer, a foremost advocate of legal abortion. But Fiorina doesn’t make those the most prominent aspects of her campaign. She simply seeks to bring her life experience to the political table in service of the people of California.

“Carly is not running away from her views, but chooses to stay focused on the issues that matter most to voters,” Marty Wilson, her campaign manager, explains. “Because of Carly’s background as a business leader, she is afforded the best of both worlds. Values voters are comforted by her views, and economic conservatives can be assured that she won’t support new taxes and believes the unbridled growth must be halted.”

That dynamic played out in the candidates’ first debate. Sen. Boxer hyperbolically thundered: “If my opponent’s views prevailed (on abortion), women and doctors would be criminals, they would go to jail. Women would die, like they did before Roe v. Wade.” But Fiorina calmly and beautifully explained that her own family life brought her to her position. She added that she recognizes “that not everyone agrees with me on this.” And reminded voters “I recognize as well that the most important issue right now in this election is the creation of jobs and getting our government under control.” She went on, again in response to a question, to defend and explain why she opposes federal funding of embryonic-stem-cell research. Fiorina gave a plug for more promising adults-stem-cell research and didn’t miss the opportunity note that: “Senator Boxer voted against a ban on human cloning.” It’s hard to cast anyone else as extreme, as Boxer has, with that record.

Fiorina used the debate as a teachable moment, not just a battle of sound bites. And it wasn’t just pro-life me who was impressed. A Los Angeles Times review gave her high marks for her grace under fire.

And while Boxer, funded by Planned Parenthood and EMILY’s List (a group that supports female pro-choice politicians and candidates) obviously thinks she can demonize Fiorina on these issues, it’s not clear her strategy will have traction, even in California this year.

“In most polls, the race is a statistical tie,” John J. Pitney Jr., a professor of politics at Claremont McKenna College, observes, calling it “remarkable.” “Though Republicans have sometimes done well in races for state government offices, California has long favored Democrats for federal office. No Republican candidate for president or U.S. Senate has won here since 1988.”

It’s remarkable because Fiorina is being outspent. It’s remarkable because Fiorina is not running left or away from her staunchly held social positions. “Fiorina is doing well because California’s economic woes are causing many voters to question the policies that Barbara Boxer supports,” Pitney surmises.

Fiorina’s strategy resembles Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell’s race in Virginia last year. His opposition tried to paint him as a right-wing Neanderthal. But as far as he was concerned, the race was about jobs, education, and transportation — it’s what Virginia needed in a gubernatorial candidate. McDonnell not only won in the purple commonwealth, he won 51 percent of full-time, outside of the home, working women — even as his opposition insisted on emphasizing and demonizing a graduate paper he wrote on traditional gender roles.

9/11 and the Pentagon

Often when speaking or hearing about 9/11, only the Twin Towers are mentioned. However, some ways away, innocent Americans were killed as they went about their daily duties at the Pentagon. One of them was Melissa Rose Barnes, the daughter of a dear friend, who I had known since she was a young girl. Melissa was a blessing in her mother's life and in the lives of those who knew her. Devoted to her family, dedicated to her service in the U.S. Navy, she was a sweet and dear girl. I have pictures of her through the years. She would call me once in a while and share the events of her life. Several times, she sent pictures of her home, her pets, her in her uniform performing her duties. In the video here, you can see her picture at 54 seconds. Melissa Rose Barnes, rest in peace. We have not forgotten you.

John Cusack calls for "Satanic Death" of Fox News & GOP leaders

I used to like John Cusack, though I learned of he and his sister's extreme liberal leanings years ago and chose to stop watching his movies. I respect his right to free speech; however, calling for the death of someone goes beyond the pale of free speech. I agree that it is this sort of rhetoric that could push an unstable person to do something horrible. Remember when Alec Baldwin made his fist-pounding statement that Henry Hyde should be stoned to death during the Clinton impeachment hearings? I remember.

John Cusack Calls for 'Satanic Death' of Fox News, GOP Leaders

Actor John Cusack went on a caustic Twitter rampage Sunday evening, attacking former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Fox News.

“I AM FOR A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES ORDICK ARMEYAND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS,” Cusack tweeted.

Cusack has long been outspoken about politics. He supported Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election and has contributed to The Huffington Post, but this is the first known time he has stooped to the level of making threats.

And while the U.S. Constitution protects Cusack's right to speak his mind, some critics say he should be more careful about what he says, since he has more than 200,000 Twitter followers.

“His provocative tweets could easily incite a rabid fan to commit violent acts against Fox News Headquarters and others he names," said Dr. Carole Lieberman, a Beverly Hills-based psychiatrist and author of "Coping With Terrorism: Dreams Interrupted."

"Fans could not only be influenced because of their devotion to Cusack, the man, but also because of their love for one of the characters he plays,” she told Fox411.

Cooper Lawrence, the author of “Cult of Celebrity” told Fox 411: “The fear isn't that a celebrity will influence someone to do something violent or out of character due to the sheer devotion to the celebrity, the fear is that someone who is already vulnerable, mentally disturbed, already considering something dangerous, may be encouraged to do so if it is advocated by their favorite star,”

Lawrence explained that while celebrities don't make healthy people do things they wouldn't normally do, they could impact someone who is on the fence or mentally unstable.

“John Cusack has to know that his words carry weight because he is an actor beloved by many generations of folks who may not get his humor and might think he is calling for something more sinister. The responsibility is on him to not abuse his fame to influence something negative on the off chance that even one person takes his words to heart,” Lawrence said.

Cusack could also be doing his career some damage. Image consultant Michael Sands says that Cusack should be worried that his vituperative words could turn off some of his fans.

The Lunacy of the Far Left from Huffington Post

Following the Restoring Honor gathering in Washington, Beau Friedlander published this at HuffPo. Note how he thinks the Mormons reverance for women is sickening but never mentions the treatment of Muslim women under Sharia.

Huffington Poster Offers $100,000 for Nonexistent Glenn Beck Sex Tape
By Noel Sheppard (Bio | Archive)
Mon, 08/30/2010 - 10:19 ET

CRITICAL UPDATES AT END OF ARTICLE: HuffPo pulls piece, Beck responds.

A Huffington Post contributor and former editor of the failed liberal radio network Air America is offering $100,000 for a nonexistent sex tape featuring Glenn Beck.

"Rupert Murdoch and the Koch brothers are happy to throw money at the rising tide of right wing lunacy," wrote Beau Friedlander at HuffPo Monday.

"Breitbart offered $100,000 for JournoList, the email listserve that brought down WaPo blogger Dave Weigel this June," he continued.

"Why did they do it?" he asked.

His answer was as offensive as his despicable offer (h/t @MelissaTweets aka Melissa Clouthier):
Because they stand to make a lot of money off the anti-black president movement, and they are rich enough to imprint their beliefs on the American sheeple.

The bio for this miscreant reads:

Beau Friedlander is a writer living in Brooklyn. He was the editor-in-chief of Air America until it closed in 2010, and is the former publisher of Context Books, an award-winning small press.

He is currently working on a book proposal called The Bunker Mentality, which takes on the conservative movement with lessons learned from his time at Air America, and as the publisher of War on Iraq: What Team Bush Doesn't Want You To Know by former UNSCOM inspector Scott Ritter and William Rivers Pitt.

His work can be found in the Los Angeles Times, The Paris Review, and other publications.

His piece predictably went after "Tea Baggers":

In cultural terms, the original neoconservatives who birthed the baggers were way more frightened by the Broadway musical "Hair" than the film "Rosemary's Baby" (both from 1968). A mock ad might go like this: "Afraid your daughter might hook up with a black guy (or the nation may choose one to be president)? Have a problem with that h***sexual and or promiscuous son or daughter? Does your son need a haircut? Do you often find biblical characters charred into your toast? Then do we have the movement for you!"

Then, to the typical liberal attack on Beck:

Glenn Beck is also a Mormon. It matters. His religion typifies the noble lie that the neocons originally set out to defend against the counterculture--Archie Bunker's America--where a woman's place was in the home and with baby, and an African American's place was in a ghetto. (Mormons revere women much like Hindis do the cow, and they didn't accept African Americans in their ranks at all till 1978--draw whatever inferences you like). [...]

It is time to pop the tea baggers' favorite balloon (so what if it will be replaced by another?), and with that in mind I hereby offer to negotiate a $100,000 payday to the person who will come forward with a sex tape or phone records or anything else that succeeds in removing Glenn Beck from the public eye forever. I am not offering the cash myself, but I will broker the deal and/or raise the money for what you bring to the table. (And it better be good.)

If you have the goods, or if you want to contribute to a slush fund to buy more takedowns (probably not tax deductible), please contact me at: glennbecksextape@gmail.com

Anti-Semitism in the United States - UC Irvine

More sharia at UC-Irvine, 12 arrested for disrupting Israeli ambassador

Campus jihad continues. From the Orange County Register:

Twelve people were arrested this evening during a raucous lecture at UC Irvine where Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren came to talk about U.S.-Israel relations.

Oren was interrupted 10 times while trying to give his speech before 500 people at the UCI Student Center, where there was heavy security. Oren took a 20 minute break after the fourth protest, asked for hospitality and resumed his speech, only to be interrupted again by young men yelling at him every few minutes. Many members of the audience also applauded Oren.

After the 10th interruption, several dozens students who opposed Oren’s talk got up and walked out and staged a protest outside. It is not clear whether they were members of the UCI Muslim Student Union, which issued an email earlier in the day condemning Oren’s appearance on campus.

From a previous UCI intifada uprising:

“…Our weapon, our jihad, our way of struggling in this country [USA], is our tongue. We speak out, we deflate their [Americans and Jews] morale, and it’s the best we can do right now…and our brothers and sisters on the other side of the world are handling business in their own way.”

More on the Muslim Student union here

Hat tip to Atlas Shrugs and Pam Geller for keeping us informed.

I think the best part of the video was the part near the end where the students walked out and what appeared to be one of their professors was telling them "you have failed all of your exams." I hope it was worth it for them to behave in such a manner. It doesn't look like they will be doing so well in school this semester. David Horowitz, linked above for Discover the Networks, has been writing for years about this very thing. It's one thing to read about it and another to see the actual video.

Maafa 21, Planned Parenthood, Eugenics and Margaret Sanger

They were stolen from their homes, locked in chains and taken across an ocean. And for more than 200 years, their blood and sweat would help to build the richest and most powerful nation the world has ever known.

But when slavery ended, their welcome was over. America's wealthy elite had decided it was time for them to disappear and they were not particular about how it might be done.

What you are about to see is that the plan these people set in motion 150 years ago is still being carried out today. So don't think that this is history. It is not. It is happening right here, and it's happening right now.

Maafa 21- Black Genocide, learn more about this amazing video here

I urge you to visit this site and learn about the real reason Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger. I have written on this blog repeatedly about black genocide in modern day by planned parenthood. Unfortunately, the black community still stands with the liberals who support and fund planned parenthood. I can only believe it is because they have no idea what is happening. As more and more educational films such as this are made, I do believe enlightenment is at hand. I pray that it is.

While Strassmann simply introduced Singer as a bio-ethicist, in reality, the professor has a history of promoting radical ideas, such as justifying infanticide. In an excerpt of his 1993 book Practical Ethics, entitled “Taking Life: Humans,” Singer concluded: “Killing a disabled infant is not morally equivalent to killing a person. Very often it is not wrong at all.” CBS certainly picked an odd person to lecture Americans on caring for those less fortunate.

Miss Me Yet Billboard of George Bush in Minnesota

This is so funny. I got an e-mail with this on it some time ago, not the billboard, just the picture of George Bush with the words miss me yet. The fact is, I do miss him. I miss his openness and his ability to speak to the American people without condescending or scolding. I miss his cabinet. I miss that I felt safe when he was president. I did not agree with all of his policies but I agreed with the ones that were important to me, particularly his prolife stance. This billboard was erected near Wyoming, Minnesota and so far, no one has found out who did it. I love it!

Pro-Abortion Group Claims Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad Promotes Domestic Violence

Pro-Abortion Group Claims Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad Promotes Domestic Violence

Why are we not surprised. A playful ad between a mother and a son, a faux tackle and this is violence against women. REMEMBER, this is the same group, NOW, who kept totally quiet when all the women were coming forward against Bill Clinton with charges of everything from sexual imposition to downright rape. They have no credibility at all. They are grasping at straws. Pathetic.

Who is Tim Tebow?

I have a feeling, Tim Tebow would not want to be glorified. To him, the glory belongs to God. This is what makes him such a remarkable man. Finally, a true role model for our children and for all of us. A man who lives his faith on and off the field and who puts God first on his list of priorities. God has blessed Tim Tebow and he has blessed us for having him in our lives, whether we know him or not, many who did not know his name before, know it now.

Here's the thing that makes life so interesting. The theory of evolution claims only the strong shall survive. Maybe so. Maybe so. But the theory of competition says, just because they're the strong doesn't mean they can't get their asses kicked. That's right. See, what every long shot come from behind underdog will tell you is this, the other guy may, in fact, be the favorite, the odds may be stacked against you fair enough, but what the odds don't know is this isn't a math test. This is a completely different kind of test. One where passion has a funny way of trumping logic. So before you step up to the starting line, before the whistle blows and the clock starts ticking, just remember out here the results don't always add up. No matter what the stats may say and the experts may think and the commentators may have predicted, when the race is on, all bets are off. Don't be surprised if somebody decides to slip the script and take a pass on yelling uncle, and then suddenly, as the old saying goes, we got ourselves a game.

The Tim Tebow Superbowl Spot

Never before have I seen such a frightening display of pro-life agenda. How horrible these people are to celebrate life in such a blatant fashion. Okay, sarcasm off now. THIS is what the proabortion crowd was so afraid of. What a bunch of sissies. God bless Tim and his beautiful mom and by the way, what a killer smile Tim has!

I adore Andrew Breitbart. It's good to know people like him are on the side of America. Here in his address to the Tea Party Convention, he hits some solid points regarding media bias and elitism on the part of the liberals. They simply do not connect with the average American. Anything outside what they consider THEIR norm has to be racist, homophobic, and redneck.

What Children See

Years ago, a friend of mine told me a story about driving down the street, with his granddaughter in the car. A woman, with a car full of kids, ran a stop sign, almost hit him and then proceeded to roll her window down and scream every foul word he had ever heard at her, all the while shooting him the finger, and all the while her children watched and listened, as did my friend's granddaughter. I was appalled. Sadly, I have witnessed this behavior myself in the interim. This spot illustrates that children often mimick those who supposedly care for them. Be very careful the example you set. In your later years, you will regret it if you don't.

Planned Parenthood Makes an Ad to Counter Tebow Ad

Gentleman, with all due respect, you are both African-American and absolutely must educate yourselves about the racism that started Planned Parenthood and continues to this day. I have posted about this countless times on this blog. Many in the African-American community are just now coming to realize, through the writings of Margaret Sanger, that the founder of Planned Parenthood was a full-blown racist and anti-Semite whose goal was extermination of peoples she referred to as "weeds." The proabortion crowd is running scared and I have to say, this ad is weak in every respect.

Everyone Against Abortion, Raise Your Hand

The spot above was put together by Priests for Life. Rejected by all networks in the United States, it has just been accepted to be aired in Canada. The image of the video is stunning. The perfectly formed hand and arm of a 28-week-old fetus. With our technology, this young boy could have lived outside the womb. His name was David and he is one of the faces of abortion. The images are hard to view. All abortion images are. They speak to most of us in our hearts and minds. They make us cry and they make us angry. We pray and we shout. We do our best to see that children such as this little boy are born and given a chance at life. Yet there are those in this society who do not see this child as a living human being. They do not watch these videos. They do not read Bernard Nathanson or any other book on the truth about abortion. They turn their eyes and mind and hearts from the pictures of the pro-life protestors and they rail against those protesting. To them, it has become imperative to dehumanize abortion in order to tolerate it.

Lila Rose Attacked by Planned Parenthood Abortion Center Escort

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pro-Life Activist Lila Rose Attacked by Planned Parenthood Abortion Center Escort

by Steven Ertelt
LifeNews.com Editor
December 18, 2009

San Jose, CA (LifeNews.com) -- Lila Rose has made a name for herself exposing the abuses at Planned Parenthood centers, such as staffers misleading women about abortion or hiding cases of sexual abuse. Rose became a victim herself Thursday morning as a Planned Parenthood staff member attacked her.

Late Thursday morning at the Planned Parenthood abortion facility located at 1691 The Alameda in San Jose, California, Rose led a group of pro-life advocates.

Rose tells LifeNews.com she was visiting the abortion center with a group of about 20students and three adults to pray and provide information to women who might be open to abortion alternatives.

According to a police report filed at the scene and numerous witnesses, a uniformed Planned Parenthood escort engaged in a short exchange with Rose and eventually struck her on the hand, knocking her literature to the ground.

"Sir, are you familiar with the abortion procedure?" Rose asked the Planned Parenthood escort while standing on the public sidewalk.

The escort approached Rose from the Planned Parenthood parking lot and said, "You idiot. You've caused so much trouble. You piece of crap."

Rose told LifeNews.com today: "The man appeared to recognize me though I had never met him. He knew who I was and I think that is part of the reason for his surprising anger and the attack."

Rose offered to show the escort a picture of a baby victimized by abortion, saying, "Can I show you a picture of what it really does to a baby?"

At this point, the escort struck Rose's hand knocking her pro-life pamphlets and Bible to the ground and Rose stepped further back on the public sidewalk.

The Planned Parenthood official moved closer to Rose and, visibly shaking, says, "It's a woman's choice!"

"What about the baby's choice?" Rose responds.

The Planned Parenthood escort replied, "It's not a baby!" and then turned around and walked away.

Rose, the president of Live Action, tells LifeNews.com that the police were called and interviewed her and several witnesses on the scene.

She says she was not injured by the attack but will press for charges of assault and battery.

Rose told LifeNews.com she's not concerned about the attack in one sense because unborn children face worse.

"The attack against me cannot even begin to compare with the lethal attacks that take place twice a week at that same clinic against completely defenseless unborn children. I am thankful I live in a nation where my life is protected by law, and the lives of sidewalk counselors, and we will continue to fight for the day when our laws recognize our fellow unborn brothers and sisters as persons with the right to life," she said.

Rose said she received good news this morning.

"A woman who thought she was pregnant and considering abortion, bound for Planned Parenthood , turned around, and one of the parents and their daughter at the clinic drove her and her friend to the criis pregnancy center," she said.

'She was crying and so happy because she said she wanted 'a sign from God' not to get an abortion. And the sidewalk counselors and students praying were her sign," Rose concluded.

Megyn Kelly Destroys Gloria Allred Over Tim Tebow Ad

What exactly is the proabortion crowd so afraid of? To hear them shriek, this small ad at Superbowl is going to take away a woman's right to choose whether or not to kill her own baby in the womb. Gloria Allred wants the "whole story" told. That would have been nice back in the day when Roe v Wade was being passed into our forever horrified consciousness. The truth would have been nice. Bernard Nathanson wrote that at the time he was involved in inflating the numbers of deaths from illegal abortions. Though he had an epiphany regarding abortion when the advent of ultrasound allowed him to witness, first hand, a fetus being torn apart in the womb, the proabortion crowd is still using the boogey man tactic of deaths from illegal abortions. Jim Daly counters Ms. Allred with the fact that abortion was legal in the Philippines at the time and can be easily researched. The proabortion crowd is frothing at the mouth and striking out like the mad dog that they are. Megyn Kelly does a fine job here with Ms. Allred. I especially like her comment when she asks Ms. Allred that isn't the right to free speech more speech, not less. Ms. Allred just doesn't have a chance against Megyn. BTW, Megyn just got back from four month maternity leave and is looking lovely as ever.

Abortion Addict admits to having had 15 abortions in 17 years

This story from the Dailymail is a shining example of the fallacy that abortion is not being used as a means of birth control. Note that the woman in question, who decided what she had done was noteworthy enough to write a book about, has regrets that she "let the woman's movement down." That's right, she did. She chose to carry two of her pregnancies to term. What a disappointment. Just when you think you have heard it all. However, the fact is that the number of women who have multiple abortions is increasing, though nowhere near the horror that this woman has produced.

A woman has admitted to being 'an abortion addict' after having 15 terminations over 17 years. Irene Vilar said she had the abortions not from poverty or fear but as an extraordinary act of rebellion against her 'controlling' husband who did not want children. The 40-year-old's confession has unleashed a torrent of attacks from anti-abortion activists on the internet, including death threats and demands for her to be jailed.

The cycle of pregnancies and abortions, which began when she was 16 and ended when she was 33, was also punctuated by several suicide attempts. Now a successful literary agent with two young daughters, Loretta, five, and Lolita, three, Mrs Vilar has written about her experiences in a memoir, called Impossible Motherhood: Testimony of an Abortion Addict.

The book, which was published yesterday, has shocked many Americans, who remain bitterly divided over the issue, and has angered campaigners on both sides of the abortion divide. Charmaine Yoest, president of pro-life pressure group Americans United for Life, said: 'It really underscores everything we always say in the pro-life movement - that abortion is part of a very sad story for women.'

However, pro-choice campaigners said Mrs Vilar's book raises uncomfortable questions about abortion as a form of birth control.

Mrs Vilar said of the book's reception: 'I am worried about my safety and the hate mail. I just imagine the "baby killer" stuff and I could be a poster child for that kind of fundamentalism.' My note: No, you could be a poster child for someone who used abortion as a means of contraception. That's what you are.

The attractive one-time academic prodigy attended a boarding school in New Hampshire and was accepted into a New York university when she was only 15. A year later, she fell in love and married a 50-year-old Latin American literature professor, who she says was opposed to having children. She claims he bragged that his relationships never lasted more than five years and told that having children killed sexual desire. In response, Mrs Vilar said she rebelled by 'forgetting' to take her birth control pills. My Note: Is this just a tad disingenuous?

'In the beginning I was taking pills and I'd skip a day or two or give up one month,' she said in a television interview. 'I'd think I'll be better next time. My note: Still no mention of the word responsibility. Well, we all know what an enormous hassle taking a pill a day is.

'But slowly, my days took on a balancing act and there was a specific high. I would get my period and be sad, then discover I was pregnant, being afraid, yet also so excited.' My note: Excited about what, having a living human being dissected piecemeal from your womb. Yeah, I can see how that would excite someone like YOU!

She claimed she had the abortions so her husband wouldn't leave her although she failed to reveal whether he knew of the terminations. My note: My head is going to explode.

'Of course, this did not mean I wanted to do it again and again,' she said. 'A druggie also wants to stop every time. My comment: I have no words.
'Women have written memoirs about their anorexia or their bulimia, and they explain the best that they can what motivated their addiction or their behaviour. I try to do the same in this book.' My note: Comparing anorexia or bulimia to multiple abortions is like comparing Hitler to Mother Teresa.

Although she said she did not see herself as a victim, she admitted she felt she had let the women's movement down. Now re-married, she is raising their two daughters and two teenage stepchildren in Denver, Colorado. My note: She is right, she is not a victim. Her 15 dead children are!

'Motherhood has made me feel accountable,' she said. 'It hasn't made me less pro-choice. My note: Accountable to what exactly you stupid cow! How about being RESPONSIBLE. There's a word that doesn't ever seem to appear in the "prochoice" crowd.

'It's just that I understand and feel the weight of the privilege we have in exercising our right to choose.' My note: Oh My GOD, could you possibly be any more facetious. You understand the weight of the privilege in exercising your right to choose!! This woman has no soul. 15 abortions have certainly been weighty for her.

Tim Tebow's Superbowl Prolife Ad

Tim Tebow's Superbowl prolife ad has certainly raised the hackles of the pro-abortion crowd! Tim's mother was advised to abort Tim when she became ill in the Philippines while carrying him. She chose LIFE and Tim is an example of the fine men and women abortion has deprived of life. However, Tim is not the first athlete to speak out against abortion. In 1987, Wellington Mara, co-owner of the New York Giants, produced a 9 minute video featuring members of this Superbowl team. George Martin, an African American defensive end, compares Roe v. Wade, which said "unborn babies have no rights," to the "shameful Dred Scott decision that said that black people have no rights." This ties in with an earlier post today. This is that video. (Many thanks to the Washington Post for the video and the information about the video.)

Here's another great pro-life ad, rejected by the major networks.

Rush Limbaugh's Letter to Obama after SOTU Address

Modern Day Black Genocide - Margaret Sanger - Racist

Yesterday, while driving through town, I passed Planned Parenthood. There are usually a few hardy and brave Pro-Life protestors standing outside and that day was no exception. When I can, I roll down my window and give them the thumbs up or honk and say God Bless. This day, they were holding a protest sign I had not seen them use before. It said simply, in large black bold letters, BLACK GENOCIDE.

There can be no doubt that Margaret Sanger was a racist of the highest degree. Her legacy, in her own words and deeds, cannot be denied. Margaret Sanger spoke of sterilizing those she designated as "unfit," a plan she said would be the "salvation of American civilization. She also talked about those who were "irresponsible and reckless," among whom she included those "whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers." She further contended that "there is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped." That many Americans of African origin constituted a segment of Sanger considered "unfit" cannot be easily refuted.

The eugenic theme figured prominently in the Birth Control Review, which Sanger founded in 1917. She published such articles as "Some Moral Aspects of Eugenics" (June 1920), "The Eugenic Conscience" (February 1921), "The purpose of Eugenics" (December 1924), "Birth Control and Positive Eugenics" (July 1925), "Birth Control: The True Eugenics" (August 1928), and many others.

The following are just a few of Margaret Sanger's statements regarding eugenics and what she considered to be inferior races, including blacks and Jews.

"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with
social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most
successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal.
We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro
population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if
it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."
-- Margaret Sanger's December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255
Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Original source: Sophia Smith
Collection, Smith College, North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also described in
Linda Gordon's Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth
Control in America . New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.

"Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying
... demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism ...
[Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the
world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of
others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead
weight of human waste. Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the
stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world,
it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant ... We are paying
for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing,
unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born
at all."
-- Margaret Sanger. The Pivot of Civilization , 1922. Chapter on "The
Cruelty of Charity," pages 116, 122, and 189. Swarthmore College Library
edition.

"Today eugenics is suggested by the most diverse minds as the most
adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and
social problems.
"I think you must agree ... that the campaign for birth control is not
merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical with the final aims
of eugenics ... Birth control propaganda is thus the entering wedge for the
eugenic educator.

"As an advocate of birth control I wish ... to point out that the
unbalance between the birth rate of the 'unfit' and the 'fit,' admittedly
the greatest present menace to civilization, can never be rectified by the
inauguration of a cradle competition between these two classes. In this
matter, the example of the inferior classes, the fertility of the feebleminded,
the mentally defective, the poverty-stricken classes, should not be
held up for emulation.

"On the contrary, the most urgent problem today is how to limit and
discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective."
-- Margaret Sanger. "The Eugenic Value of Birth Control Propaganda."
Birth Control Review , October 1921, page 5.
"Give dysgenic groups [people with 'bad genes'] in our population
their choice of segregation or [compulsory] sterilization."
-- Margaret Sanger, April 1932 Birth Control Review .

"The third group [of society] are those irresponsible and reckless
ones having little regard for the consequences of their acts, or whose
religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers.
Many of this group are diseased, feeble-minded, and are of the pauper
element dependent upon the normal and fit members of society for their
support. There is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the
procreation of this group should be stopped."
-- Margaret Sanger. Speech quoted in Birth Control: What It Is, How It
Works, What It Will Do. The Proceedings of the First American Birth
Control Conference . Held at the Hotel Plaza, New York City, November 11-
12, 1921. Published by the Birth Control Review , Gothic Press, pages 172
and 174.

"In passing, we should here recognize the difficulties presented by the
idea of 'fit' and 'unfit.' Who is to decide this question? The grosser,
the more obvious, the undeniably feeble-minded should, indeed, not only be
discouraged but prevented from propagating their kind. But among the
writings of the representative Eugenists [sic], one cannot ignore the
distinct middle-class bias that prevails."
-- Margaret Sanger, quoted in Charles Valenza. "Was Margaret Sanger a
Racist?" Family Planning Perspectives , January-February 1985, page 44.

"Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race."
-- Margaret Sanger. Woman, Morality, and Birth Control . New York: New
York Publishing Company, 1922. Page 12.

"There is only one reply to a request for a higher birthrate among the
intelligent, and that is to ask the government to first take the burden of
the insane and feeble-minded from your back. [Mandatory] sterilization for
these is the answer."
-- Margaret Sanger, October 1926 Birth Control Review .

"[Slavs, Latin, and Hebrew immigrants are] human weeds ... a
deadweight of human waste ... [Blacks, soldiers, and Jews are a] menace to
the race."
"Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need ... We must prevent
Multiplication of this bad stock."
-- Margaret Sanger, April 1933 Birth Control Review .

"[Our objective is] unlimited sexual gratification without the burden
of unwanted children ... [Women must have the right] to live ... to love
... to be lazy ... to be an unmarried mother ... to create ... to destroy
... The marriage bed is the most degenerative influence in the social order
... The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members
is to kill it."
-- Margaret Sanger (editor). The Woman Rebel , Volume I, Number 1.
Reprinted in Woman and the New Race . New York: Brentanos Publishers,
1922.

The above quotes were compiled by the American Life League

It is no mistake that the majority of Planned Parenthood offices are located in low income, oftentimes predominantly black areas. 36% of abortions occur within the black community.

Recently, many in the black community have started to take notice of this trend and to delve further into the true motive of Margaret Sanger. In her lifetime, Ms. Sanger received many rewards. One must then wonder what reward she received upon her death. The death of millions and millions of innocent victims and the ruination of the lives of many of women who had the abortions. Those women are starting to speak out as well. Abortion does not just affect women. The fathers of these unborn children and the families are all affected. Silent No More offers powerful testimony that abortion is very often not the right "solution." The fact is, it is not a right at all and should be abolished. What began as a guise and ruse for a racist, has now turned into a multi-million dollar industry performing abortion on demand as a means of birth control. I personally know several women who have had multiple abortions. There simply can be no excuse for this.

If you live your life as if there is no God, you have better be right.

Republican Senator Judd Gregg Reacts to MSNBC Host

I went back and listened to her question several times to see if her wide eyed innocence, "just asking a question" was indeed true. It isn't. She was obviously loading a question in the worst possible way, with malice and bias. Good for you, Senator Gregg. Republicans have finally found their backbones. It's about time! Again, I ask myself, who are these people who keep electing San Fran Nan? Do they really not care about this sort of behavior. Memorial to My Father, Verl Glen Coons

My father died in January of 1990, now 20 years ago. It's hard to believe he has been gone so long. Years ago, I did a memorial video of him, which I posted on You Tube to share with my friends and family. Unfortunately, the video was 13 minutes long and You Tube would only allow me 10 minutes length, so the end is truncated and many of the pictures are missing. However, it's still quite a video of a remarkable man who accomplished heroic feats in his lifetime.

Libera - Going Home

My friend, Helen, sent this video to me. This just happens to be my favorite song and one of the songs I used for the memorial video I did of my father. It's also the song I wish played at my funeral. It's simply beautiful as done by these sweet young boys. Take a moment and enjoy.

Jon Stewart Slams Keith Olbermann

This is just priceless. Granted, I am not a Jon Stewart fan, but I have noticed that he rises to the occasion when he sees something like Olbermann's rant against Scott Brown as just plain wrong, which it was, and is. Baseless accusations by a man who I believe is totally unhinged.

Unborn Babies, Mothers ‘Wounded’ from Abortion Deserve Compassion Too, Republicans Say
Friday, January 22, 2010
By Penny Starr, Senior Staff Writer

Tens of thousands of people gathered at the National Mall on Friday to march to the Supreme Court building where the landmark Roe v. Wade decision was made 37 years ago legalizing abortion. A rally, including gospel songs by singers from Liberty College, was held before the march. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr)
(CNSNews.com) – Republican legislators joined tens of thousands of people on the National Mall on Friday to commemorate the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion.

And as the nation and the world reach out to help the children and adults who survived the deadly earthquake in Haiti, Republicans said Americans should not forget the more than 50 million unborn children whose lives were ended by abortion.

“I think about that all the time,” Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) told CNSNews.com. “The hypocrisy that’s involved with how concerned they are after children are born and how little concern they have for children before they are born.”

“I believe that the compassion and generosity of the American people is in high relief in Haiti, but frankly I think it’s also in high relief in the pro-life movement,” Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) told CNSNews.com.

He credited the spread of the non-profit pregnancy resource centers, which help women find alternatives to abortion, as one of the cornerstones of the expanding pro-life movement.

Marchers carried signs, including one that used children's author Dr. Seuss to make a point about the value of all life. Since 1973, more than 50 million unborn children have been killed by abortion. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr)
“One of the great advances in the pro-life movement in the last 20 years has been the emergence of pregnancy crisis centers,” Pence said. “I think one of the reasons why a clear majority in most polls support the right to life is because the American people know that this is not an argument over austere legal questions.

“This is a deeply compassionate argument that has the interest of the unborn and the interest of women at the very center of it,” Pence said.

“There has been almost a schizophrenic view when it comes to regarding the unborn child as expendable and throwaways,” Rep. Chris Smith (R-N.J.) told CNSNews.com. “We have greatly and – thankfully – passionately stepped up to the plate to help people who are suffering from catastrophes like the Haitian earthquake.

“But I would hope that the same moral imperative and the same compassion we reach out to the people who have been buried in buildings – and many people in my own district have loved ones and relatives who have been buried and killed – our hearts go out to them,” he said.

“But our hearts should go out in a like manner to the unborn and to the wounded mothers from abortion,” Smith said. “So there is a double standard.”

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) said the earthquake in Haiti and abortion are both human tragedies that should make people value every human life.

“On this day we come to celebrate life and plead with the hard hearts that remain here in Washington to overturn Roe versus Wade and bring us back to the sanctity of life,” King said. “I feel badly for the people in Haiti – it’s the worst natural tragedy in the history of this hemisphere.

“And I think that if the people in this country could hear the cries of the unborn, who are so brutally treated, they would have the same compassion for unborn Americans that they have for the tragedy in Haiti,” King said.

One sign in the crowd referenced the health care legislation supported by the Obama administration and Democrats in Congress that would have allowed federal funds to be used to pay for abortion. (CNSNew.com/Penny Starr)
On stage, representatives from pro-life and pro-family groups told the crowd that they were responsible for making sure the goals of the pro-life movement succeed, from overturning Roe v. Wade to making sure women who carry their babies to term have the support they need.

People of all ages and from across the country attended the event, including 41 students from Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay, Wis.

“I support that women have other choices than to kill their innocent child,” 15-year-old Genevieve Hoang told CNSNews.com. “And euthanasia I don’t support either.”

Susan Diiorio of Newberry, N.J., said she has a personal reason for being a pro-life activist.

“Being handicapped myself, I’m very concerned over the issue, because we have a president who said life is a matter of convenience,” Diiorio said. “During his campaign speech he said that he would not want his daughters to suffer with a child because she made a mistake.

Men and women who are part of the Silent No More Campaign shared stories about how abortion has hurt them. They carried signs that said "I regret my abortion." Others carried signs mourning the loss of fatherhood from abortion. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr)
“That causes me great concern, because if he would take the life of his own grandchild, what would he or those who support him do for someone like me,” Diiorio said. “So I’m here not only for the babies, but for those of us that are handicapped, who have disabilities.”

One of the most touching moments came when Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.) took the stage with her two-year-old son.

“I’m the proud mother of my two-year-old son, who happens to have Down syndrome,” McMorris Rodgers said, adding that she is “heartbroken” by the fact that 90 percent of babies diagnosed with the genetic disorder in utero are aborted.

“We can show them a better way,” she said. “A way that protects life.”

“Thanks for coming today,” McMorris Rodgers said. “You are standing up for your children. You are standing up for my son, Cole Rodgers. You’re standing up for the future of America.”

The Anniversary of a Travesty Roe vs Wade

March for Life held their grand rally today in Washington. However, Rick Sanchez from CNN just could not seem to figure out what was going on. I guess the "March for Life" threw him. I am so proud of those who could and did go. One day, I will be there with them. I was certainly there in spirit. I remember 37 years ago when Roe vs Wade passed. I was living in Norman, Oklahoma, had just had my second child, a daughter. My oldest daughter was nearly 4. I had stopped at a drive in to get some drinks for us and was just putting my baby in her car seat when it was announced on the radio that Roe vs Wade had passed through legislation. It was one of those moments forever frozen in my mind. Like where I was when Kennedy was killed (study hall in school), or when 9/11 occurred (optometrist's office). I feel the same way today that I felt then, a sense of complete and utter dismay that something like this could have ever happened HERE. I am as vehemently opposed to it now as I was then and I always will be. Scroll down my side bar on the left of my blog and you will see many pro-life placards. I like to quote Ronald Reagan when he said that everyone for abortion had already been born. A simple quote, a simple truth. If we do not speak for the unborn, who will? Here are some words from the great Ronald Reagan:

Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation (1983)

ISBN 0964112531

We must all educate ourselves to the reality of the horrors taking place.

* Make no mistake, abortion-on-demand is not a right granted by the Constitution. No serious scholar, including one disposed to agree with the Court's result, has argued that the framers of the Constitution intended to create such a right.

* The decision by the seven-man majority in Roe v. Wade has so far been made to stick. But the Court's decision has by no means settled the debate. Instead, Roe v. Wade has become a continuing prod to the conscience of the nation.

* We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.

* If you don't know whether a body is alive or dead, you would never bury it. I think this consideration itself should be enough for all of us to insist on protecting the unborn.

* The real question today is not when human life begins, but, What is the value of human life?

* The abortionist who reassembles the arms and legs of a tiny baby to make sure all its parts have been torn from its mother's body can hardly doubt whether it is a human being.

* Regrettably, we live at a time when some persons do not value all human life. They want to pick and choose which individuals have value.

* As a nation, we must choose between the sanctity of life ethic and the "quality of life" ethic. I have no trouble identifying the answer our nation has always given to this basic question, and the answer that I hope and pray it will give in the future.

* As a nation today, we have not rejected the sanctity of human life. The American people have not had an opportunity to express their view on the sanctity of human life in the unborn. I am convinced that Americans do not want to play God with the value of human life. It is not for us to decide who is worthy to live and who is not. Even the Supreme Court's opinion in Roe v. Wade did not explicitly reject the traditional American idea of intrinsic worth and value in all human life; it simply dodged this issue.

* We must all educate ourselves to the reality of the horrors taking place. Doctors today know that unborn children can feel a touch within the womb and that they respond to pain.

* Late-term abortions, especially when the baby survives, but is then killed by starvation, neglect, or suffocation, show once again the link between abortion and infanticide. The time to stop both is now.

* It is possible that the Supreme Court itself may overturn its abortion rulings. We need only recall that in Brown v. Board of Education the court reversed its own earlier "separate-but-equal" decision.

* As we continue to work to overturn Roe v. Wade, we must also continue to lay the groundwork for a society in which abortion is not the accepted answer to unwanted pregnancy. Pro-life people have already taken heroic steps, often at great personal sacrifice, to provide for unwed mothers.

* We will never recognize the true value of our own lives until we affirm the value in the life of others.

* We cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others are not fit to live and should be abandoned to abortion or infanticide. My Administration is dedicated to the preservation of America as a free land, and there is no cause more important for preserving that freedom than affirming the transcendent right to life of all human beings, the right without which no other rights have any meaning.

Before moving on to another story, Sanchez did read a tweet from Sarah Palin on the march: “She tweets at this moment, and I will share it to with you: ‘Affirming dignity & worth of every innocent human life & defending the defenseless are fundamental American values, so march peacefully & hopefully.’ That’s from Sarah Palin’s camp.”
